this girl pulls things her brother never thought of doing. Thank goodness it was just chalk...this time! I hate to put a halt on the kids' spontaneous art moments. But from now on, all art supplies will be behind closed doors. Libby-proofed doors.

Pumpkin Patch

Today, we headed up to Independence to check out their Pumpkin Patch. Rain was in the forecast so we got jipped out of the Jupiter jumps. But we got to pull the pumpkins off the vines and Evan absolutely loved it. And I might add that we have raised a very discriminating pumpkin picker. Only the best for the Hathaways...



Evan insisted on pulling his own pumpkins...


But it didn't take long for him to get tuckered out. What a sour face...

Can you believe this is the picture of a little girl who woke up from her nap later that afternoon with a fever of 102.3 and proceeded to throw up all over her mother. Not once but twice...


And a few shots of the biggest tractor we had ever seen...definitely the highlight of the trip in Evan's eyes.

Zonked Out

Aarrgh!!

If you haven't noticed from all of the previous posts...Evan absolutely loves to dress up. I really think we could get rid of all of his toys and he would be fine as long as he had his dress up stuff. He can spend hours, literally, in the role of Batman, Diego and now a pirate. His imagination is just brilliant and one of these days, I am going to secretly tape him as he is going to bed. Those are always his craziest adventures!

And I wanted to apologize for sometimes putting so many similiar pictures. That means I just couldn't pick a favorite!!
